VỀ THANG ĐO
Được xuất bản lần đầu vào năm 1996 trên Tạp chí Y học Công nghiệp Hoa Kỳ (American Journal of Industrial Medicine), Thang đo Giảm chức năng của Cánh tay, Vai và Bàn tay (DASH, Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder, and Hand ) là một sáng kiến hợp tác giữa Viện Bác sĩ phẫu thuật Chỉnh hình Hoa Kỳ (American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons), Hội đồng các Hội Chuyên khoa Cơ xương (Council of Musculoskeletal Specialty Societies) và Viện Việc làm và Sức khỏe (Institute for Work and Health). Thang đo kết quả này được thiết kế để trở thành một lượng giá tiêu chuẩn về tác động lên chức năng của nhiều loại bệnh cơ xương khớp và chấn thương ở chi trên.
DASH là một bảng câu hỏi tự báo cáo gồm 30 mục, trong đó các tùy chọn trả lời được trình bày dưới dạng thang đo Likert 5 điểm. Điểm từ 0 (không khuyết tật) đến 100 (khuyết tật nặng nhất). Điểm này được thiết kế hữu ích ở những bệnh nhân bị bất kỳ rối loạn cơ xương nào của chi trên.
QuickDASH là thang đo DASH rút gọn, cũng được chứng minh là thang đo có giá trị với bệnh lý cơ xương chi trên và thực hiện nhanh hơn.
